Im a bit new to dps classes, i have both lostwind cliff cardset and ligh of salvation. But none of the sets are awakened yet. Do i stick with lostwind still or switch to salvation while working on awakening?

You focus on your main and get that into T3. If you've already done that you just choose one of your alts and push that into T3 next. There is zero reason to keep any alt in T1 or T2. That provides no benefit for you at all.

Also honing through T1 and T2 does not use gold.

In fact honing up to ilvl 1445 does not use gold.

Lostwind cliff(LWC) and light of salvation(LOS) must both be awakened for it to grant damage bonuses; recently they added new card sets that are much easier to farm and get some damage going. See if you can awaken Deep Dive(DD) to its first tier and try to farm for its 18-set. You can use lostmerchants to see when the wandering merchants that sell the cards spawn. If you don't you can use the witcher cards (or star of destiny?) for now if you've done the event

As Beans already recommended you can use Deep Dive if you can manage to awaken it high enough, or the Witcher set. I just want to add that you shouldn't worry over getting card sets like Lostwind or LoS full card set + awakened in a "short" period of time. Its too RNG and you'll just end up burning yourself out and going crazy trying to break your back over cards.

Lostwind and Deep Dive are the easiest to achieve since you can just hit up Wandering Merchants when they are available for the cards necessary and they function as more than enough hold over as you work on the long term goal of Light of Salvation 18

Your friend can try hovering over the emote in the list which you can access by pressing Y. It should tell them how to get it if they do not have it for some reason. Before doing that, though, they may want to check their inventory for a book looking icon which is what will teach them the emote.

When you can. They have ilvl requirements so ideally you do them when you have the ilvl for them. Gatekeeping is a concern but you should still be able to potentially find a learning party or in the case of Argos a card run you might be able to sneak into.

You're not. That legendary gear can go up to 1490 and will transfer 1:1 into Relic gear when you get it so you're not wasting materials at all.

Failing honing is just part of the game. You're not doing anything wrong, its just RNG. Also it is typically not recommended to dump success rate materials or books onto gear that early on, they are much more useful at this point after 1445.

Don't rush. It might feel like you're not moving but you're moving, the whole pity system is there for a reason if you for some reason just get uncharacteristically unlucky.

Suggested amount of alts is typically 2 to 3 depending on whichever you may be comfortable with, bring them one by one to an appropriate ilvl where they can support your main (1445 is easiest now).

A good number of people have their alts all at almost the same ilvl as their main but that is a lot of gold investment that most people don't have the capability of acquiring that early on.

In your situation you can bring the two lower ones to 1370 as well and then cycle back to bring the 1375 one up higher and rinse and repeat.

Those T1 alts you're not really going to be getting basically any gold out of them. Best course is to get them to T3, no reason to huddle them up in T1 or T2. Does nothing for you.

Do your daily Chaos Dungeons, Daily/weekly Una's on them and it shouldn't take too long per character to do so. Use islands if you haven't done so already (which if you did Story Express on your main then you likely still have them available to use)

If you want to. You don't need gold to hone until after 1445 so you can still push the main higher and then cycle back to your alts after you've done that.

I cannot stress this enough, and repeatedly, there is no rush. It may take you some days, maybe even a couple weeks overall for your current roster depending on how much you're playing but you will get them all up there.

Otherwise gatekeeping is of course a thing, people will do it with any number of criteria but there are still learning parties present and getting into guilds or using third party means of LFG like this discord itself.

In the Una's Daily window itself. The button that lets you accept the quest gets replaced with one that lets you finish it so long as you have a ticket or blue crystal.

Everything does enough damage in Legion Raids to do what they need to do. It all boils down to the player and their understanding of the fight that determines whether or not your raid actually kills the boss.

As for Sorceress changes not much, if you want to see past balance changes or the most recent one you can go over to maxroll.gg and see it there. It should still have some of the older balance patches on there but I'm not 100% sure.

Typically fast or agile classes would be basically any Martial Artist class (Glaivier, Scrapper, Wardancer, Striker, Soulfist) along with the Assassin classes (Deathblade, Shadowhunter or Reaper).

It can also often times boil down to your class engraving build

But those classes do just sort of in general lean towards being pretty agile

I saw a thread on reddit that recommended doing the new Una event daily a certain way to get rested every day.
It went something like this:
-Do Una event daily, rested, get 2x tickets.
-do your normal 3 preferred dailies. ( needs 1 ticket)
-Use 1 ticket but no longer do Una and the next day you will have a rested daily.
-repeat from step 1.

I tried this yesterday and i did not get a rested daily today after using +1 ticket and not completing the Una, but i did get a rested daily on a different character where i used +2 tickets, thinking that i would get rested credit for two.
Does anybody have any insight to share?

i have no idea what it means, the guide for my class tells me to craft preordained to then transfer to beast and then entropy. but i do see they are basically the same? i am not sure so that is why i am asking

You can skip some of those steps. You need 6 piece legendary armor. Any set really, you can craft the one your prefer. Almost no one crafts the legendary Legion raid (beast) because it's an unnecessary stepping stone you can skip. Craft your 6 pieces of legendary gear, hone to 1445 and then do the Hard raids to craft your relic set

Relic is when things really start to matter more. You'll be using your relic set for a long time, and even when you upgrade it later it's still the same set effect

Hello Im returning to lost ark after like a year (left before Descaluda was added to the game like 1 month before it) What has been changed and whats new in lost ark? and hows the Deathblade's Surge ability is right now? Before I left it was nerfed alot like no more max orbs cuz of stacks or something and people changed to remaining energy

Deathblade surge is a lot of fun, keep playing it
it is better now or like it is the one who can deal highest damage
RE is more consistent damage but never as high potential as surge

but if x amount of members have already cleared, you get only 1 chest

and then another x 0 chests

if you were to implement a system likme this in the game I think it would just exacerbate bussing

or just easy carrying

rather than assist more genuine "learning party"s

players aren't like inherently the way they are, the game systems surrounding them guide their way of thinking

one of the reasons the gatekeeping is so big in this game is because people clear the raids on several accounts every week, they want it as smooth as possible

and also because there are so many different gameplay systems to gatekeep around (cards, equipment, ilvl, class, im sure there's more)

I just think one should think more positively about what you enjoy about the game in its current form rather than thinking of ways it can allegedly be improved, because as you said we can’t really change anything and I don’t think anything will do. A lot of the problems you talk about affects - primarily - solo play and yeah being a solo player will suck on most MMOs if you don’t engage with social aspects of the game

I don’t think any of us fundamentally disagree with the fact that there are problems associated with a new player experience
