Imo what seems to be the least painful way to make a alt outside of events is to north vern pass that you have from free event, hone to 600, buy t2 gear, do vern, hone to 960, knowledge transfer feiton, buy punika pass for $10, do south vern or knowledge transfer it. Or north vern passs then spend $50 straight to punika then do south vern. Depends on how much or little you want to spend in $ and gold or if are fine spending many hours just playing
