Yes, you will need more silver as your item level gets higher and higher as you hone and hone

It isn't really the specific cards or their rarity when using them, its about the card sets you have equipped and how high you have them "awakened".

So ideally you have a few sets you can use one of which being a budget one like Deep Dive for most DPS classes early on if you can manage it, but Supports will typically use card sets that give health like We'll Meet Again, Forest of Giants or Field Boss II to kind of start with.

DPS classes later "aim" for Lostwind Cliff and Light of Salvation but the latter is a long, long, long term goal.

Never chase cards. The system is too RNG. You'll burn yourself out.

Cards, Rapport, Crystalline Aura, currencies for Stronghold and Sailing. Its not all meh, not for a new player with a fresh Roster that has nothing built up in it.

yea for a new player you don't have to hone till t3 is pretty good

Cards are very important the chance to get legendary card pack and get any of the LOS cards is still very important
