Normal is the standard raid. Rehearsal is a extra easy mode for lower ilvl people. Less mechs, less DMG, you don't get the mats needed to upgrade your gear

You can get a little bit on an idea of what to expect, but normal is still much more of a challenge. Many people skip it but it doesn't hurt to have as much knowledge going into a raid as possible
