Very significant given you have virtually no sources of gold before 1370. Also, honing costs gold (albeit not much) after 1325. For me, rapport gold and such would mean the difference of hitting 1370 in a week or in 2-3 weeks.

I don’t see why you’d every stop honing unless you’re like 1540 or so. I’m giga casual. I just hone and ride buses because raiding is too much work.

Nah. You don’t need any cards in there for light of salvation or lostwind cliff. You will need them for awakening the demon dmg bonus books… but that’s a very, very, very long term grind and small dmg increase compared to the two other card sets.

Yes, it is possible. You have a certain amount of character restorations per account, per year (around 3~). You can request character restorations in the forum, they're dealt with quite fast.
All you'll have to do yourself is to give them the character name, class and the region and server you are playing on. You will also have to be logged out during the timeframe the support member or moderator logs onto your account to restore your character.
"Logging on" is probably the wrong term being used here, they'll most likely have other ways to gain access to your account.

Hammer by itself is already good and way better than most of the other passives you can get, you don't need to have both Hammer and Wedge for it to be strong

Not really, but mainly due to bracelet. Getting the accessories all 95 - 100 qual for 1800+ is rough but doable depending on your class (way less realistic for like a surge db or deathblow striker as they run all heavy meta spec accessories etc) if you're ok heavily investing into your gear atm, have it on my bard, but unless you're just buying a stat pad spec only bracelet any actually good realistic double stat bracelet will cost a ton

You need to step into them when they are moon to get stacks and then attack Argos to transfer those stacks to them

So the downfall of shock, despite big numbers, is slow as fuck, needing to back attack, and death rattle, if the boss even moves slightly you miss
If you can do vykas normal/hard on your scrapper, put together a 'cheap' 4x3 and try it out. Its pretty annoting.
Numbers are satisfying though, and it fits scrappers punching fantasy better imo.
