as a rule of thumb, unless at the highest tiers, it tends to be basic resources, books and things are worth most in the catchup, gear in this game doesn't seem to qualify. looking at the roster thing, a stack of 20 rare and uncommon books is probably worth alot of time for somene with many alts. LA seem to have gear inflation as intended. highest tier bossting the second highest for gold and resources?

u dont have to have a break from a character only if you're feeling burnt out
i do all dailies on 6 characters for a few months and i havent burnt out but for each person its different. find your balance in the future

yeah and for a new player i wouldn't stress about it until you want to. some advice i heard once that stuck with me about when to make an alt is, when you run out of other stuff to do and want to. and you're not gonna run out for a while
