alts can get their own resources, but main being higher means you have gold to spend, you can buy whatever you need to powerhone to higher tiers, meaning more alts to t3, meaning more mats, more gold income, so your main can hone higher faster

you need shards, blue/red stones and leapstones (and silver), you get those from either your daily activities such as guardian raids and chaos dungeons, via events like the one we have now on festivity island, via some merchants around, like boat merchants on the sea (costs pirate coins) or (1 time only) via your speedrun island route "Road to Rohendel", which is what we recommended everyone to do to reach tier 3 asap, which is where the good game begins

How do knowledge transfer work

You log into a character, pick a knowledge transfer on that character, pay some gold, wait 8 hours, and now you've skipped that storyline

If it's a new character and you're talking about the N.Vern knowledge transfer, you instantly become level 50 and get a 302 gear set

You just have to do the main story for like 10 minutes to receive your Stronghold teleport song. Once you get that, you just go to your stronghold, go to the Knowledge Transfer spot, pick the N.Vern KT, pay the fee, and wait 8 hours
