You can but it's meaningless. You consume your tier 1 gear to get your tier 2 gear from +0 to +1, but since you get +2 per hone you basically waste it anyway

It's DPS in on par with lv7 gem 5x3 lv5 max tripod. However barrage arti is just broken.

The trade off is SH is extremely agile having 1 additional low CD "dodge"(Q) in her Demonic Form. Really high weak point and really easy to play so your DPS will be constant. I will actually recommend it to newer player.

has anyone run into this issue where your Salvation set buff will just randomly cancel out in Chaos Dungeons? Not even just switching floors. I was on floor two about to use Awakening on boss, and it didn't do as much dmg as expected. i look at my buff bar and my 20x dmg buff is gone. i build it up a bit again and it just goes away again. doesn't happen often, but often enough that it is noticeable now.

if you are not really interested in the story much and wanna tackle end game content faster and can throw 50 bucks, sure

but you have a very steep learning curve

you're gonna get a lot of shit you have no idea how it works, so you're gonna be researching a bit

and you cant just get item level and tackle endgame raids asap

highly recommended to first get a good welcoming guild / discord community

First and second phase are fine, but the slams in the third phase feel like a rip if someone gets hit (which seems to trigger the subsequent slams)

Especially if you get lightninged as well and get stunned so can’t even pot

It's a very well designed guardian, but it is very unforgiving if you get hit frequently.

So learning how the lightning works is critical as per your example.

You can literally walk out of the patterns with 0 swiftness, it's tight but still doable.

The basic patterns (excluding lightning) is a carbon copy of the black dragon guardian from t2 right

For me all they did was include the SCD mech, reversal and the obnoxious lightning stuff

I personally find playing around a lot of ground aoe effects just generally unfun

Especially when he flies, and it the narrowing field of electricity with a slow landing

Because it's firstly an actually challenge due to the attacks and how they appear randomly, yet predictably. They're tight to avoid but possible to avoid even by simply running correctly. The mechanics require teamwork to complete and once done, give you a massive damage buff. If you keep getting hit due to not reading the boss correctly then you get punished for it and it feels good to actually master

yeah, I think Cali is horribly designed. so many patterns just stop you fighting (or he spins randomly) - whether he flies off, puts up the "no attacky" shield, and then just flies off again... or how he can do the big giga blast you have to counter ... when the counter is on cooldown. just a very frustrating boss

I think the continents MSQ from vern-punika are okay

Because they’re shorter and the KTs cost more

I wouldn’t do all the yellows. Some of the yellows can be taken alongside the MSQ

But - I mean I would do it if I really wanted to play that alt. I probably wouldn’t do it for roster xp alone

Probably, but depends on how many KTs you have left

With a roster level of 60, this also suggests you’ve not done a lot of horizontal

I would personally focus spending time on doing horizontal

Because that is important for your general roster progression

Particularly skill points

And runes

Doing tome will also increase your roster level substantially

Anything that isn’t honing/gear level

Mokoko seeds aren’t too important

But omnium stars, island souls, giants hearts, ignea tokens (and therefore adventure tome) are the most important because they give skill potions

The SV cards are good

You don’t get that many 1-50

And most are just any card packs or uncommon-leg

Which are kind of not worth it

Shrug I guess I don’t want to just call my suggestion “better” - I just think it’s a more useful use of your time to do horizontal

Rather than levelling through the MSQ from level 1

Once you have lots of characters at t3 endgame, you may not have any time to do horizontal (I certainly don’t)

And it sounds like you’re not really there yet, so basically make the use of some of the time you have to do something that will positively benefit all of your characters in a significant way

I.E skill points

And runes

Roster level on its own isn’t really worth it

(IMO)

I don’t think you actually need to upgrade your stronghold for any of the honing research

Some people will, but it’s not like higher roster level will get you autoinvited to parties
