thats blue crystals, different from gems (or at least in western translations that's what we call them). what exactly are you looking for? gems are for damage/cooldown boosting, blue crystals are for buying various premium stuff in the game like crystalline aura, card slots, pheons, etc.

A few days ago that 1350 swiftness was 1250, now they moved 100 status from spec(came from 1150 to 1050) to swift

GL is hard

in raids

imo

blue - in one sense "braindead" because you can effectively ignore normal mechs in most gates, but you need to play well to contribute with damage, and in some gates you can't just tank damage and you then do actually have to be skillful with an awkward backwards dodge; red is hard because you have not a very strong identity shield so can't use it all the time, and then you're also relying on head attacks for good damage

i don't think either destroyer or GL are "braindead" head-keyboard classes. fwiw i regret making my GL, and there are a lot of KR players (and western players) very unhappy about state of GL

long story short, the class has no real identity

the damage ceiling of both builds is on the low side (red slightly higher)

the concept of a "tank" in the game is also a bit smoge because a bunch of raids (clown, akkan, vykas) have mechanics where you can't really just face tank the boss and not have any negative consequences

well quite, so in KR (and also in the west) people "want" GLs in parties a lot of the time because it has the best directional damage synergy in the game (with blade)

so it's sort of relegated to a class where you are there purely to buff up your synergy

which is a pretty shitty class identity for a class that is still otherwise pretty clunky to play, kind of basic animations (imo), and can't really hold its own in dps otherwise (under equivalent gear/skill level etc)

i mean just compare it to blade, which has the same directional synergy, a semi-useful second synergy, and outputs insane damage

so - if you start from a point that in MMOs, you typically want to invest in your character and gear up and "look good" - why would you invest in a GL that is only there to buff up other party member's damage

LA gearing has sort of degenerated into a point where it's fairly easy (if not even trivial) to get to e.g. 5x3 relic or 5x3+1 ancient, but the amount of additional investment for 5x3+2 (9/7 stone) or even something like esther weapon in KR is thousands of magnitudes more

so its just a class that feels - similar support to an extent - to lack the motivation to actually invest more

you can probably get a sense of this as well if you just look at the number of people in KR with esther weapons for each class

GL - i'm fairly sure - will be quite low

because if you were to spend 20k USD real money into a weapon, why would you do it with a GL

anyway. hopefully i've given a reasonably objective view of why people are unhappy about GL. plenty of people still "like" the class and fundamentally want it to do well and improve.

well. id just be careful because ultimately your "role" as a GL is still to do damage

your synergy is good but not that good
