people bus both for different reason, but if you need gold, for example, it's better to buss vykas normal and get 2 share than bussing vykas hard to get 1 share.
for valtan, people will prefer doing solo valtan nm and 2~4 man hm, because more money

Basically, you just make more money bussing the raid than you do running it in a group

So if you have everything you need from the raid, might as well if it's something you enjoy doing

For the... ~200 busses I might have done, and the ~20 I've bought, on those I have done "no bid on book", they got bid around half of the time, I've had 2~3 people afking when it's time to pay (After that, I stopped doing pay after G1/2), have had 10~20% of lobbies where you have that 1 person who goes afk when the gate will only take 2~4min

And on the ones I took, I got jailed only once, they didn't refund and went afk 🙂

please dont think of classes in this way

at the end of the day, if you want to do more damage, you can likely play better and/or hone more

you should not care about relative damage if you enjoy the class you are playing

relative damage between classes only become relevant, essentially at equalised stages (either in equalised content or when everyone is max ilvl with perfect gear) and only when you care specifically about min-maxing everything

An example of this was when I did Vykas HM yesterday, me being the lowest DPS in the raid party at 1485, with a 1519, 1497 and 1494 for comparison. I did 25-35% of the whole raid party's damage as Igniter, that's pure raid and class knowledge coming into play.

1. What are the weekly sources of gold engraving books? I've read so far it's mostly Thunderwings/Legion drops (and t3 maps/abyss to a certain degree).
   Looking for this because I was advised by a friend that, after reaching 1460, I should be looking to go from 4x3 to 5x3 & slowly getting gems from 5-6 to all 7 (I'm this close to grinding 4 Solas cards by making alts to get lwc12 ); and since I'm not that bothered by that taking some time; idm waiting 2 months or so for a x20 engraving books.

2. Are there new daily/weekly t3 honing sources since first release? Can name on top of my head Guardian/Chaos/Bloodstones/Pirates/Event currently. Boss rush/cubes can be done but not able to open the chest before actually being 1370
   Trying to get two alts (1325 & 1310) to 1370; to get my character count to 1370+ being 4. Figured I could be investing some gold there; but shard pouches cost quite a lot

Well you misunderstood. Like I said back attacking is a matter of practice, so if something like a striker really appeals to you but the only reason you want to switch is cuz of back attacking id give it more time personally. But that's just me

I think tai has decent dmg and one of the smoothest and less punishing classes in the game.

as far as i understand it, striker is a bit more...investment heavy. DB needs a lot of investment, and is also heavy on being mechanics in terms of rotating between egnerators and spenders

Striker ESO(swift build I forgot what it's called) is also pretty nice and quick but the deathblow striker ( spec build) is super slow and very punishing for exmaple

also generally - this game isn't favoured towards tanking any damage really, and most people consider backattacking to not be too difficult because you typically want to be at the back of the boss to avoid a lot of attacks

For what it's worth, I have 3 backattackers. Main is Deathlade remaining energy then I have deathblow striker and tai scrapper alts. All are 5x3 and while I might be stronger with my db and striker, scrapper is the most fun class IMO

I'm having trouble with striker honestly. Even though I'm following the guides, it kinds doesn't work. Guides say to not start with DB and says to use specific tripods and skills that doesn't really work at lower levels, so I'm doing my own builds based only in the DPS feedback I get when playing with friends.

You don't relay on meter and stuff

But you will have some downtime without too much swiftness naturally

Another thing I'll tell you is that you are at a point where u do new content like every day

Later on you will repeat a lot of content and be familiar with them

This is where back attacking start to feel better

Not on your first raid but after a few where u pick up the patterns

honestly though, its not possible to judge damage below t3 relic gear (below 1445)

all classes are completely viable in this game

it's about if you like the feel of the abilities, the mobility, and general playability of the class

Yea dmg is def nothing before relic set at 45 and like we said even the play style and flow of the char can really change once u reach a specific milestone(mostly on spec classes like striker)

Once my death blade was able to reach full orbs in one rotation it was like playing a different class almost lol

yes it should be fine. there are a bunch of islands which give T2 mats, and particularly life shards

you just keep honing

the guide should take you through all of the islands

Just look up the reputation rewards and pick for yourself. Skill point potions, emotes, collectibles etc.

It's all there in the una's task menu.

Or if you want a specific collectible, look at the collection progress for it, it will tell you if it's an una's task etc.
