burst classes like surge usually end up being more useful due to their damage windows being a lot shorter, meaning the boss just needs to be in the right position a few times for you to get the proper damage output, whereas consistent dps classes need the boss to be in ideal spots more often than not, causing them to fall behind

although for that reason, burst specs of classes are a lot more expensive as they are far more popular

You don’t need leg grudge. I’d try think about other common combat engravings that work with your DPS classes

You also only really need to think about books when you want 5x3. So I’d think about your DPS one at a time really.

Anyway at 1430+ your roster should be making 60-70k a week easily, and that’s just in raw gold

The LOS thing is mainly that los12 does nothing on its own normally. Most people will get lwc12 quite quickly, but should switch to los12 for those gates because 10% damage bonus is better than 7% crit

there is some theory crafting where for certain values of crit dmg and crit rate, LWC can be better than LOS18, but it's very rare for anyone to have those combinations (except some sorc builds iirc)

So assuming your first character reaches level 60, it can at most be used on alts as high as 58 (so it can get characters to 59 but no higher)

Well, if the guy is still here, I can agree that new players in lost ark face a lot of difficulties. I’m just trying to at least put a perspective on where the game design is focussed. I’m frankly glad to not have to go back to old continents for sake of doing even more weekly tasks when I barely have enough time to do my weekly raids and dailies. Also not all MMOs have to cater to every type of MMO player. There’s nothing wrong with accepting that a particular MMO does not suit what you expect from a game.
