Surge DB is also insanely strong

But everything is viable and your contribution will have more to do with player skill than with the class

I would suggest you try the endgame raids first before considering what DPS means in the context of lost ark, because it’s not useful to consider all classes as doing damage continuously and in an optimised way

Party synergy also necessarily requires class variety in order to maximise raid DPS as a whole

Supports are the VIPs of endgame raiding. They get special treatment and pretty much anyone will accept them. You'll have to make a damage build for solo-content (mostly just chaos dungeons), but you get 2 free skill pages anyways, so it shouldn't cost you anything extra.

Community is dumb, but it's true Mayhem Zerk is one of the more squishier classes in later content. All the classes feel VERY VERY different from tutorial (level 1-50) compared to endgame raiding, so take your current gameplay with a grain of salt. If you wanna see endgame gameplay, you could try watching youtube videos of like Valtan raid runs with your class.

So getting everyone to 1445 then pushing your main to 1490 is probably a solid plan

I agree with Jonesy here. Every game has gatekeeping, but Lost Ark is designed in a way that emphasizes gatekeeping, since there's such an urgency to get stuff done. If you play a 6 man roster, and you need to do 18 raids in a week, you're gonna wanna bang those out asap.
