The problem with DoE is actually not the engraving itself, but human error. Someone mentioned earlier that Koreans talk about DPS loss from DoE repositioning, and it's totally valid. Same with picking up early drops in a bad window timings, etc.

Because your entire thinking seems to be based around people messing up being unsolvable and unaccountable, and the rest of it being RNG that is unsolvable either. VPH provides consistency for a raid party because it is a measurable benefit for specific points in fights that can either provide indirect damage buffs for your party because they can do their rotations more efficiently or save your party due to higher stagger during wipe mechanics.
