You can check out class showcases/introductions on YouTube or you can select a base class and try out the advanced classes from there, for example, mage has bard, arcanist, sorceress, and soon to be summoner. If you don't like any of those, you can delete or make another character with a different class until you find one you like. As for playing with more than one character, that's one of the strongest things you can do to push progress faster than with playing with one char

nows the best time to be trying to do clown still, there are multiple LFG posts on this discord for learning parties for clown, and usually 1 or 2 in party finder

and as your main is already brel ready, getting into learning parties the first week shouldnt be too hard, as you're at the same stage as everyone else

You can leave your main at 1490 for a while, and concentrate on alts to increase your weekly gold income. idk what your roster is, but if you've got one 1490 i'd assume its fairly decent roster. All you need to do in that case is just stop honing for a week or two, sell everything you get, and you'll make enough to start fixing your alts to a decent enough level

Trying to understand the level scaling. If you are say 1400 and you do a 460 guardian, that means you are overleveled and can easily handle the enemies right? So a party of all 1400 doing 460 is cakewalk right? what is the point of people hosting 460 guardian raids and then denying if you want to apply? doesnt that mean they will easily defeat the boss anyway if they are overleveled except the 1 person that is 460?

I recommend checking things out. Arcana is the hardest to play imo, not too newbie friendly but maybe you like that. Sorceress is just a classic elemental mage, Igniter engraving being her bursty and more meta build and Reflux being a more spammy build. Then there's Bard which is a support. Having a support in your roster is always a good thing imo. Everyone loves supports and finding groups for later content is easier. Then there's also Summoner which will release in 3 days, if you wanna wait for it. She plays a bit like Sorceress.

Just search what their gameplay is like on youtube or try them out in the trixion thing

grudge5 is cheap because a lot of people go grudge9/12, so just get grudge from accs/stones (which are also normally cheap because people go grudge 9/12)
