Yes once you get to vern or complete it I forget you get a pass so when you make another character it can skip to level 50

Vern powerpass puts you at Combat Lv50 and item level 302, Punika is Combat Lv50 and item level 1302

That's literally the whole reasoning.

The point is @mighty linden, honing your alts more won't make it much easier to do Argos. That mostly comes from experience. Focus on your main so you can reach 1460 and then worry about your alts after that.

Watch out for popular engravs like Grudge/Cursed Doll and class engravs because they are likely to be more expensive. If a piece has no perfect match it's likely never going to sell.
If you have doubts about a piece just post it here and ppl will value it for ya
