otherwise when you're in fullscreen windowed mode and alt-tab to a browser playing a video, for some reason the game forgets to vsync and runs crazy fps

even to the point of frying your gpu in the char selection screen

dont run the game in fullscreen, that is what made the biggest difference for minor performance issues for me

hey im trying to do a knowledge transfer to punika and i got my main at 1100ilvl and i have done the main story there but on my new char i can only do the first step for 600g 302ilvl do i need to pay gold like 600+1000etc and pay like 10k gold and wait 5x8hours?

eh.... you can't skip KTs like that, you first of all need the item level to be able to KT an alt, second, you need the correct amount of manual clears or KTs of that continent, and third you need the previous continent cleared on that alt to be able to KT punika, aka feiton

knowledge transfer has the requirement of not skipping regions. so to transfer to punnika you have to finish feiton story. but if you hone to 1100 then you can just do punikka story without doing feiton story

greens are completely useless, only a couple of blues are worth, legendaries are very good, and some purples are good and some bad

and yeah basically you run out of tasks on your main, you can either set up alts so you can start doing tasks on them, more characters = more stuff you can do, like you can do guardian raids on them and sell their leapstones for more gold, eventually you'll get a significant chunk of your gold income from doing raids, and you can do up to 6 characters of raids for extra gold each week, but this can be a LOT of work even for someone who plays 14 hours a day, if you just wanna swipe the credit card you can instead focus on "horizontal content" aka adventurers tome and collectibles

It's up to you, 2 or 4pc demon beast is better than argos, but it's not necessary and it costs gold
If you're leaving that character sub 1445 it might be a good idea, but if you're pushing to 1445 I'd just skip it

just to talk further on this, there is SO MUCH in front of you, like you gotta work your way up through tier 2, then tier 3, then you gotta get to ilvl 1370 and start collecting legendary gear, then up to 1415 and start collecting relic gear, then at 1445 you can finish your relic set and that's basically the endgame only you have two more raids to unlock at 1475 and 1490, it's going to take you many months, like more then 5 months, to work through these goals so just chill and play and enjoy and not stress about trying to get to "endgame" because it's a forever treadmill

The legendary books are just rng, buy them if you want to gamble, do not buy them if you're looking for profit

Knowledge transfer caps out at 9 i think, which is like half the available characters in the game, so i wouldn't worry too much about wasting knowledge transfers, as i doubt you'll run out of them. the only thing you're wasting there is gold
The only downside for you personally "wasting" powerpasses is that they're your major catch-up mechanic. most of the players didnt rely on powerpasses, but we have the benefit of 6months of play time

"wasting" a powerpass isn't going to make the game unplayable for you, but forcing yourself to play a character you don't enjoy, because you don't want to waste a powerpass, will ruin the game

only thing i can advice is to seek as much advice/knowledge as you can, so you can get a rough idea of what a class is like at endgame, before making your decision. But even then, sometimes people just dont mesh with classes. I'd imagine most players have 1 or 2 classes they left behind after realising they didnt enjoy

Is there a way to make L3 on controller (L Trigger Button) activate nearby points regardless of cursor position like it did prior to the update? Ever since update, it has been a pain to do simple things like jump/climb/zipline/etc and interact with NPCs. Before update only R3 was based on cursor position and L3 would work based on character position.
