Hey, I returned to the game after a break about a month ago with my highest character being 1415, I decided because I was late to Vykas and Clown (and probably Brelshaza) I will main support for the time being, since you tend to have a higher chance of pugging bosses on item level and without the need of heavy investment (Legendary books, 5x3+1 etc)
Once I catch up to current content I'd like to swap back to a DPS main, I'm thinking this will be after Brelshaza release, does this strategy look correct, or can anyone think of something better ?

I 100% fixed my game with several methods, the best and easiest ones are making sure you use fullscreen, disable the game's v-sync and turn on nvidia v-sync. The v-sync method worked well then I forced EAC priority to low and now my game is smooth af

Am I better off just dumping my powerpasses and knowledge transfers on classes that seem interesting and seeing what sticks? Or should I conserve them to some degree? (Say, keep 5 knowledge transfers for later use)

I mean yeah you need relic gear to use a class at it's "peak" but you can definitely know if you like the playstyle before hitting this ilvl (1445)

The only way to see the true potential is getting it to 1445 and 4x3 / 5x3 first, with good gems and tripod upgrades, it's a journey. But the general feel is as soon as you get your relic set.

How come combat stats are more important than engravings?

Base stats are like a foundation, if you dont have it you're gonna be ineffective even with a full set of 5 engravings. This is even more so the case for specialization classes as they can not function or barely work without having a decent amount of it.

There are a few classes where you can maybe make slight adjustments and not see a massive difference like a swift ring instead of a crit ring but this isn't that common.

Also some engravings require a certain amount of a combat stat like kbw (keen blunt weapon) requiring enough crit or raid captain which needs you to be at near capped movespeed. There are exceptions here and there but if there's anything to take away its that having proper combat stats is better than having an extra 1 or 2lvls on an engraving

1370 is argos, 1415 is valtan, 45 is relic set and hard valtan and 72 lets you still get argos gold/mats if you dont want to run clown.

though some would argue its better to just push to 75 for chaos dungeon

if its any boost in confidence, i havent been scammed once in about 20-30buses. People typically don't do this much anymore, especially with high roster level. If anything goes wrong people have so far refunded me (like just today got dced and got locked out, driver sent me my money back)

But I think you just have to sort of understand that some people play with limited time and it can be frustrating if they’re expecting to spend < 30 minutes to clear vykas but then an imposter joins a reclear party …

From vykas on individuals can wipe the whole party, and this game is just a bit brutal in that regard

yes you can, the most recent punika pass expires until january, so you can use it now or wait for summoner if you so desire
