Vykas starts dealing with a lot of actual "mechanics" rather than dodge and do damage.

You shouldn't die from damage in either raid. Valtan kills you by knocking you off the platform.

the reason you use bombs on the first one, is because you want to try and break 1pc of armor on his first charge.
that means on his 2nd charge, you can start to break his 2nd armor with just skills.
so after he does axes, and charges a 3rd time, the armor break is guaranteed.

if you don't break his armor on the first charge. You have to break it on the 2nd, which means you dont get a chance to chip away at his 2nd armor , so you have to break an entire piece on the third charge

If you do not break on first charge, you have to break it on the 2nd charge. Which means you don't get to chip away at all on his 2nd pc of armor.
So you have to break it completely on 3rd charge.

@tulip copper in regards to what you're asking. the only time i'd ever say to hold bombs, is when you know your party has insane destruction. multiple scrappers/destroyers for example. they have enough destruction in their kit to break without 7 bombs.

this way, you can actually have enough destruction on the 2nd charge to break both armours super early before first axes.

I wouldn't recommend it though.

a decent strategy for 4x3 is to use epic class books, and 2 legendary rings with class engraving+useful engraving. As relics with class +3 are generally the most expensive.

you can run 2 leg rings, which are much cheaper than relics with class engraving.
then a high quality relic neck with only +5 of a useful engraving is fairly cheap, and gives much better value than a leg neck.
then another +5 only earring, also cheap.
and a 4/3 earring, which might be the only expensive piece.

this is how i did my alts.
its not the most cost effective in the long run, as i'm buying pieces which will eventually be replaced. the neck and ear with only +5's are effectively useless in the long term.

but it gets your dps into a place where its more than well equipped to be accepted into all raids up to vykas HM, and start making v good gold/week from raids, without having to sit in party finder for an hour.

you might be wasting like 10-15k on pheons, but thats a drop in the ocean compared to what you'll be spending eventually on legendary books and accessories for 5x3.

the alternative is to plan your 5x3 right now. And buy as many pieces as you can that will fit in both your 4x3 and 5x3 set up.
however, you're then going to be looking at accessories that are +5/+3 BiS and are going to be costing a hell of a lot more than temporary accessories.

You should just play at your own pace. If your guildies want you to catch up, tell them to fund your main. I always recommend people fill out their Gold-6 with minimum 1370s (probably 1415s now tbh). It's a big gold + mats boost from anything you've been doing up until now.

For the soul: after doing the initial quests you will have a peach wine (if you already did them and dont have it, buy it for a few peaches). You SHOULD do shangra on the character you did the intial quests with because only that one gets the deer quest.
My path was: go left to the deer, take the quest, find the bright eyed deer. Go to first hidden spot, then the other one, then do co-op quest as it gives a lot of peaches. Then the quest on bottom right. Then run around the island a few more times because the singing co-op quest can be done twice. Kill all the peaches you find.

For dew: (i didnt do this one..cba) well..just sing to flowers. You will learn the "hitbox" of the song if there's 2 close flowers but not close enough.

All in all, maxroll made me think this island will take much longer than it actually did tbh

For dew you can solo, but if there's people inviting you to parties you can also leech because Peaches and Dew can be exchanged at a rate of 20 for 1 each way

I forgot to mention: Drink the peach wine exactly when you get at "2". For 2 and 3 you need to have drunk peach wine. One of the quests will give you another bottle, but it can only be done 10 (or 15 i forgot) times

Unfortunately, the big issue is gonna be coop. I'm in Adrienne, a dead server. Nobody does island coop's anymore, so wondering if its possible to solo the peach coop stuff?

Same issue with nobody doing Illusion Isle, Unknown Isle, and sailing coops (so can't get keys --> shipwreck sea bounties). Times like these, I do wish we have bots doing these coop stuff so all legit players can actually get these things done on dead servers.

It is possible, it will just take you a few days longer. The quests alone give 120 peaches (though one of them is only doable 10 times and after that you're not getting free peach wine anymore). So for 10 days you'll get like 1200 from quests alone, then 70/day from quests. Co-op iirc gives 50-60 peaches and can be done twice, though it respawns around ~X:23-25 (time) so maybe you dont want to spend 30 minutes on the island.I was getting 450-500 peaches a day in parties, I forgot without.

Imo just do the quests + first co-op (and kill peaches on the way) then do something else. Waiting for 2nd peach is fine but it's only 50 peaches for 10-15 minutes of waiting

However if you're collecting dew for the mount, you can wait for both

There's some that give you crit/spec/swift/dmg to demons/dmg to undead but at the end of the day, most cards are useless

There are multiple ways to get a 5x3. All of them require an engraving at +12 though. As for pheons, without dropping the item on the character you want, you will spend 115 pheons at the very least

If you hover over a card in your inventory and you see the image, you already opened it and own copies of it. If you see only the name, it's not opened yet

Knowledge transfer only skips you the story. You still need to level them. Eg: after doing NV KT, you hone until 460, then KT rohendel then hone until 600 then KT yorn etc.

1. What are its spawn times? My eyes glave over when trying to read the billion listings in alarm list.

2, Can I do the quests multiple times a day on alts to speed up the process? Char 1 does day's spawn 1, char 2 does 2nd spawn, char 3 does spawn 3, etc.

In alarm list there's a cogwheel. Select it, go to islands, you will see. That's true for all islands you want to check. All quests are 1 time a day, co-op is unlimited.

That's the weekly challenge abyssal dungeons which gives honing materials, not the regular abyssal dungeons which give you gold. Everyone has the same challenge dungeons each week

Depends how big your account is. Honestly I'd do: KT Vern, hone to 600, do yorn manually, hone to 1100, do punika. Congrats you're in T3.
