Blue gunlancer is basically a pseudo tank, you have shields up 100% of the time if you manage them well and then you just spam your skills, red gunlancer is only 2-3 skills with big bursts of damage and high cooldowns but doesn't have that much shield, less than destroyer actually

hello peeps i got a question, im currently at 1385 and trying to beat velganos but i see that its significantly harder than previous guardians. is it a good idea to just do night fox yoho for now until i upgrade my gear further or is this a git gud situation?

i see, i've run velganos a couple of times and even when i do the fight well usually my team would wipe a lot so i wasn't sure if i should keep trying or am i wasting resources

The increase in materials is minimal for the extra time, you also only solo/duo Velganos.

Matchmaking is going to fail you 99% of the time with Velganos, also making it harder due to the light mechanic that it has.

@merry estuary A priority would be getting your main engravings to +9 from books, you can pair it with a 6/6 stone to get 2x 15 nodes for 2 Lv. 3 engravings and then 15 nodes for class from 5x3 on accessories. That's how you get 3x3 engraving set up, if you have both 3/3 on accessories for all 5, then you've got 4x3 engravings.

It's only bigger numbers, red only has 2-3 dps skills and you HAVE TO head attack which you can't always and it doesn't have much shield so you can't even tank and sit there and spam like blue so extremely low uptime compared to blue

Legendary 4x3 engraving setup will last at least until 1460 HM Vykas, then you might start getting rejected there.

3x3 and you'll get rejected at NM Valtan and Vykas quite often. 1415/1430 in that case.
