Normally for oreha you pay after first boss/stage is dead. For Argos it's pay after p2 is completed.

Pretty much whever the highest point of failure is, you're expected to pay after the driver clears it

"Not Hitting" is how people cheese the mechanic. Basically after the "Sun/Moon safespots" mechanic, you'll notice Argos has a sort of "dial" underneath them. It looks like a circle made up of like a dozen bars. Just don't hit them for as long as you see the dial.

after he does the wipe mechanic, where you have to stand in your designated spot. he'll have a bar under him slowing ticking down. its whilst that bar is there that you don't attack.

you will also notice you have a x10 buff stack, that counts down for 30s? can't remember, whilst you have that buff, don't attack.

Tiers relate to your gearscore. 302-600 is tier one, and basically begins at the end of north vern, where you unlock your chaos dungeons and guardian raids, which become your daily content

your limited by the fact you can only do them twice a day, which is why most people have a roster full of alt accounts, otherwise your daily content is very limited

oh yeah that makes sense. I used to play a game called Dungeon Fighter Online and you needed Alts because you get gated with Daily Content and weekly raids so I can sorta spot the systems. yeah, sounds very similar system. lost ark is a very alt-heavy game.

most people generally have one main, but multiple alts and you'll find you'll spend almost as much time playing your alt chars. because of the limited daily content

the ideal roster is 6 characters, as you can't earn gold rewards from raids on more than 6. but the real limiting factor for how many alts is how much time you have.

after you've completed North Vern, you'll get 2 free powerpasses. so you can instantly make 2 alts and boost them straight through the story and straight to 302 gearscore
