my understanding is you can't cancel a bid if you're the highest bidder, cancelling bid only immediately refunds everything spent since i think the way the system works is you deposit pheons and gold for bid and if you are outbid and rebid you just add more gold instead of having it transfer repeatedly

So, i'm a beginner in Lost Ark. I just started like a week ago playing the game. I see a lot of bots, more than players actually playing and running around. and that's disturbing to say at least. I'm not sure if i should keep continuing playing and getting to the end-game or just leave it. Can i get suggestions from you, the ones which reached the end game-maximum lvl if it's worth it, if it's still fun, if you can make decent gear without spending tons of real money in the game, if there are actual players and guilds which are active and supportive, or if i'll still be facing bots everywhere aswell at the end game point?

There are only bots in the lower regions rn, the bot situation is much better than it used to be, the real fun is only in the endgame, having alts and doing a lot of raids, and yes definitely possible to be doing well f2p, I'm 1485 f2p with decent alts, I also have a guild that does raids, gvg, and other content regularly so I enjoy playing with them as well, at the end of the day it's upto you if you enjoy or not but I would suggest at least reaching legion raids and trying them out

Getting to 1302 now with the honing changes doesn't take long at all. Especially if it's your first character and you can get all the island rewards.

Never focus on what is "best". Chasing the meta is bound to make you disappointed when patches nerf your class.
Play classes with playstyles and animations you like.

hiii my game won't launch through Steam. I have tried various things already. I updated my graphics card (It's a Radeon, not Invidia), restarted computer, verified the integrity of the files twice (no problem detected), went to the anticheat actual website and downloaded the recent version and replaced the old one in my program files... uhhh... and hours of research xD Closed steam, went to task manager and force quit what was open... Tried running steam as administrator... oh and I used AVG (yes I know people hate it xD) and I made the exception for both the actual file and the folder it's in.

Granted I haven't played in a couple months but I always made sure to download the updates in case I decided to play. The splash screen where it shows the anticheat pops up with the little loading bar, it loads and disappears like usual but the game never launches. A couple times it gave me the Nvidia error but I'm like tf I don't have Nvidia... Can anyone help? ;-;

Grudge only increase dmg taken from boss monsters and above. A trip to Trixion and some testing i got hit by the challenge monster in trixion about ~3000-3500 with grudge ~3000-3500 max without grudge from the same attack. if grudge applied you would expect to find 4000+ dmg from that attack but still haven't seen one going above 3600+ with grudge from like 3minutes of getting beaten by this mob. all within the margin of error. also grudge doesnt affect pvp either (like medeia and slime or other pvp island that count engravings)

that's extremely weird and an error that's been discussed here before - unfortunately without any clear error. It's probably stuff you've done before but have you tried completely disabling the Firewall just for the sake of argument? I would've said to update graphics drivers since it's getting confused and saying you have a Nvidia (??? - do you have a screenshot of the error?) - but it's not an easy one sadly
