You're right but it's the same deal kinda. If he doesn't enjoy playing Destro because he has to build and spend cores I doubt he'd enjoy Robust SF because 90% of your damage is inside Hype mode with a cooldown and you can get knocked down or have it become useless in a fight because mechs or whatnot and lose a ton of damage

It works for gear and accessories, but for some reasons for ability stones and very often end up with stones that have 2 non-favorited engravings (e.g. Contender Propulsion)

depends on your server, but on EUC what you get from one purple map is around the same as 2 blues.
i think you need 3 blues for a guaranteed transfer to purple? so you'd lose some value, but you do increase chances of rare drops like leg books. so its a gamble i guess

auto-dismantle only works for items that are dropped, not ones that are rewards
