redownloading is basically all you need except for one part that many modify

which is character presets if you ever saved any so you’d just move them into the appropriate folder on the new drive

I would say if you can't hit 1100 in a whole month then you put less than an hour a day average so you're not actually playing the game

people sell either gems or t1 accessories, and neither cost pheons. they will set a unique bid number (e.g. bid 901 buyout 1100) and then you look for that specific item and buy it

If you wanna save some gold you can skip some of the continents for free.

What you do is:

1. KT to NVern.
2. Hone to i600. Tower/Event vendors should help with materials.
3. Buy i802 gear from the AH and hone it to 960.
4. Go to Feiton and manually do it. This unlocks KT for the next continent.
5. KT Punika. This will clear Yorn and Rohendel as well, giving you access to gems.

This way you only need to do Feiton manually, and get to skip 3 continents for 2400gold.

the idea is that you get +0.83ilevel per rank for 12->13->14->15 and you get +2.5ilevel per rank for 15->16->17..., so if your goal is to hit 1415 ASAP it's quicker just to push a couple above 15

The only thing to look out for as new player is squishy classes with demanding kits. Those would be gunslinger, deadeye, arcana.

The rest is up to what attracts you. As for expensive it is due to popularity. You will be competing on the auction house so it can be a bit tougher. But a lot of this will only be an issue as you get to the cutting edge of content

It's 3% per level, so 7x3 and 8x3.
The lvl8 gem is +3% units more than lvl7, but it's not +3% relative damage.
For relative damage you calc 1.24/1.21 = 1.0248, AKA 2.48%.

Basically, the +3% of higher level gems do less relatively vs lower lvl gems because they "stack" addively.

The main point of cards is really the set bonuses you get from them (which you can see in the card menu / Alt+C). You get the bonuses for certain amount of cards, usually 2/4/6. The set you pick depends on your build (which the Maxroll guides cover), usually for Support it's the field boss set, and for DPS you'll probably start out with Lostwind Cliffs

For "extra" cards, you will save those up and "awaken" the cards, which requires card XP and additional copies (that's the little gems at the bottom, first needs 1 additional copy, then 2, etc... meaning to fully awaken, you need 15 copies of the card). Awakening the cards gives more bonuses, usually at 12/18/30 awakening points

There's also a secondary "book" effect (second tab in the card menu), which gives minor increases to stats and damage. The are usually just unlocked by getting all the cards in the collection

hi guys,
i have a "smaller" problem for a longer time now. In chat I cannot always read all messages. If I go in a raid or anything, I sometimes I cannot see the messages in my chat box (i can only see the message pop up above a player's head). I am not able to really specify for what chats this counts and what type of message. However, I am supposed to see all messages, not?
I'd say the messages I cannot see are in Normal Chat - but normally I can read the normal chat - also in raids etc. Why can't I see all messages?

I added my chat tab settings in here as well.

no clue, game thinks some words are another language and if it thinks one word is not English the whole message is gone
