It's good to have your class engraving at 9. You won't use it once you hit 1370, cuz guaranteed +3 class engravings on Oreha Hard and Argos accessories, but you'll use it before 1370 and after 1415.
Beyond that it's good to have some general-use engravings like Keen Blunt Weapon and Cursed Doll.
Check out a build guide on maxroll or a class channel in here for info on what engravings are good for your class specifically.

Armor rarity doesn't matter in T1 and T2. Just grab as many honing materials as you can and hone as fast as you can so you can progress to T3 where the rarity does matter (above purple, purple still doesn't matter in T3 tho).

If you wanna craft any higher rarity gear grab the Enraged Nature set in T1 for the +8% movement speed so you can quest faster.
And the Marvelous Earth set in T2 for +4% MS and AS.

if you're 1415 you can clear valtan on legendary gear perfectly fine with a 3x3 (most pugs, if not all, will ask for 4x3, but that's not needed)

its just better and easier and faster to get 4x3, even better if its 4x3 relic due to a bit more stats and all that, but its not needed, if you're 1445+ and you're still in legendary accesories ... you're just gonna be seen as a cheapo :c
