Open map of major city
Find hammer symbol
Go there
Talk to NPC
Hone

If your extra gear is way better than your current one, you can consider doing a gear transfer of your current gear's honing level. If it's not, you can just dismantle the equipment

Higher quality is good but not that important until mid-T3 (1340 base ilvl gear)

So when entering a guardian raid. There are battle items many use due to the maps. Each guardian has different mechanics based on the encounter, each requiring a battle item once you reach tier 3.

Basic Battle Items used in combat are
Flare: reveals guardian for 30 secs.
Pheromone Bomb: when a guardian attempts to flee their current position, they return immediately

Hi, just a player struggling. Is it normal to get extremely overwhelmed by all the contents you are asked to learn in the game? I started looking at other contents because I noticed that my honing process got a lot slower but there are just so many that I have no clue where to start. Anyone got tips to where to tackle first or which one is more important than others such as islands, dungeons, collectibles, stronghold etc... I am around 1360 item level.

I made a list on notepad to keep track of everything I gotta do. I'd say just start with dailies (chaos dungeons, guardian raids, una tasks, rapport, stronghold, guild donation etc, then finish your weeklies, when that's done, finish your collectibles. Starting with giants hearts and omnium stars.

Before that honing Books make them meh value.
After that they gradually lose value for each step. Once you're 1475 it might be worth saving them for Brelshaza, cuz gear transfer into Ancient gear moves it down to ~+11 again, with increased honing chances.
Armor and Weapon are pretty equal, use on either.

It's base honing chance of success

@boreal violet ALSO, only use them on gear with 0% Artisan energy.
Artisan can basically be seen as a progress bar for guaranteed upgrade.
And since Fused Leaps don't interact with Artisan you'd just be throwing away progress if you succeed with Fused Leap honing on gear with Artisan energy.

Yeah. Most of your leveling once you hit 50 comes from your gear. Currently you’re focused on character level. After 50 the game redirects to gear levels. The 50-60 grind just comes as you play. No way to speed that up. And all it does is give you more skill points, but there are more ways to obtain skill points.

TLDR 50-60 isn’t that big of a deal. I mean it matters. But it’s not something you should focus on.

I managed to clear Fast Tracker :D
Did it in South Vern.
Took 6 tries or so.
You'll want a 140% MS preset and 1-2 movement skills. I did it on my Paladin.
First you gotta remember the starting point. 5 of my 6 runs had the same starting point, so I just went there before even rightclicking the tracking item. After that it's all about being quick and lucky. Sometimes you can get unlucky and get tracking nodes that are far from each other, but just keep at it.

if i understand it correctly you were previously on another server right? if the item from events and such were in product inbox it should still be in the inbox after moving server but if you claim it on that server (on the deleted char) then its gone. you can reach out to support for character restoration but if you already claim it on that server you wont be able to get it again on another server because certain event rewards that get sent are one time per region

Classes I'd recommend as first character: Scrapper, Artillerist and Paladin.
Sorceress is pretty simple too, but squishy, so less margin of error.
Deathblade and Shadowhunter are good too, but suffer a bit without Leg/Epic Wealth Runes.

Yeah, you only care about Vitality(HP) on the stones in T1 and T2.
Also, STOP FACETING STONES. You're spending silver and getting nothing back most of the time.
Only facet stones with good engravings after you've got one for the HP; you'll have to learn about good engravings in a build guide for your class.

Use a spam macro for it. Oh boy is that a gamechanger.
You can also easily rebind buttons using AHK (ofc with the downside of your new button no longer being possible to write in the chat ).

hard to get confirmed stuff either way but some people claimed they were banned for AHKing their character overnight. hypothetically possible! if your macro is more sophisticated and/or less obvious, chance decreases a lot but there's no way to guarantee you won't since it's against TOS

there's no need to afk overnight anymore obviously so as long as you don't do something like that (fish macroing etc) then you are probably fine but be wary of the risk
