you have 3 sources of engraving points: Books (2 slots), stone and accesories
Your books can have anything between 3, 6, 9 and 12 points (x2, since 2 slots)
Your stone can go from 1 to 10 points x2 as well, since it has 2 engravings (10 is delusional, 6/6 is already extremely good)
accesories can have between 1 and 5 points of engravings (talking about end game relic accesories), and you have 5 accesories you can equip, so you get a lot of points from combinations of those

all that said, i REALLLLYYYYYY recommend you to watch a visual guide in youtube coz engravings are stupid hard to understand, but stupid easy once you get how they work

Shards are character-bound. Shard PACKS can be roster bound, but once they're used, the shards go on only 1 character. I'm assuming "emerald shards" are the Harmony shards, which is T1. T1 and T2 are very fast now, thanks to the global honing buff, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. You'll only be in T1 and T2 for like a week each, at most. Just do your dailies and you'll zoom through to T3 soon

Each legion is one completion. We only have two for the time being. Eventually you'll have multiple options and you just complete the ones that you need for crafting, or whatever gives you the most gold.

Im not sure this question get asked alot but i always forget the answer, but virtue pts are roster wide anyway so if u have done story on atleast 1 char all the way through then all ur chars will have them anyway regardless if u power pass them or not

Your best bet is trying to do them on the weekend. Not many people do lower-level content, especially hard content like Gate of Paradise.
But you might get lucky and find some people in the Party Finder on the weekend.
Note that you really should read a guide before doing that raid as it has some wipe mechanics you need to know to not fail.
