and you should be getting a good amount by getting boss rush tickets, and the more alts, the more tickets

since you're just starting out it seems, lv3 tier3 gems on your most important skills should be good for the time being

the current gameplay loop for tripods as you're slowly growing ilvl would be to store important lvl 3 tripods to the storage, and then overwriting your piece of gear no matter how many lvl 1/2's you lose, then you can transfer lvl 1/2's with other pieces you find every day. then once you get higher, you would do the same with lvl 4 tripods.

until the tripod changes, in which case you just wanna store all of your highest tripods in tripod storage and/or buy lvl 4 tripods to store

Tons of people really underestimate gunlancer damage
Its still a dps class even people qualify it as a tank. The dps is really great and I see them mvp all the time.
If you enjoy that playstyle you should play it.
Also the damage uptime is great since you can just tank and superarmor everything.

There's NO classes that are weak. (Well unless you play dps paladin or bard, or really bad builds).
It sounds stupid but the best class truly is the one you enjoy the most.
Personally I've been enjoying scrapper alot.
(On a side note in the very end-game in KR right now, hawkeye and glaivier would be the 2 weakest classes but that's no indication because in our version right now they're doing fine, and balance changes are coming soon.)
Never choose a class based on how strong it is. Balance changes happen very often anyway

Personally I went with the crit damage on my zerker and was criticised alot by other zerkers. (I figured I was fine on crit rate anyway with lostwind cliff, and crit rate buff from chain sword and red dust.)
