So you get a lot of honing mats for free. I am now ilvl 600 and didnt do any islands because i have enough mats. Does this mean that some islands are redundant now? Or do islands scale and give mats for your current ilvl?

Materials from islands are set in stone, they don't scale with item level.
The boxes that contains these mats are roster bound, so as long as you don't open the boxes and keep them in your roster storage, you can use them on other characters.

4. How do you guys level up combat experience with your main? I'm clearing highest possible chaos dungeons and raid guardians every day and 2x boss rush and also a lot of yellow/purple quests but I earned maybe half of lvl 52 in a week.. I crave those extra skill points

you can dismantle bad stats on accs by reducing rarity but then tripod gear won't be dismantled
you can set favorite engravings and tripods and that dismantles bad tripods and keeps good engraving accs, but then bad stat accs and bad engraving combos won't be dismantled
