u unlock knowledge transfer system after you clear that reigon manually or also to my knowledge(learned yesterday from KR streamer) if u power pass atleast one time that reigon then it will unlock knowledge transfer for that too so up to you if u wanna Pay money to power pass or use your own time

so basically wat im getting at is if u plan on making alts and then using the "free" boost mechanic that uses in game currency instead of real money (knowledge transfer) u will have to do all reigon manually or power pass atleast once basically

IMO (may not be the best), I would just bite the bullet and pay the money to power pass your First char to punika and that should unlock the capability to start using knowledge transfer for alts, and then on each alt just use knowledge transfer system with in-game gold when u make enough

the first knowledge transfer (vern) will get u to lvl 50 and give u the 302 item gear and every other sub-sequential knowledge transfer after you will have to hone the item level first and then activate knowledge transfer, what i did was u do vern and buy materials or use materials you may have in ur roster storage and hone to next item level requirement then use knowledge transfer and then wen u hit tier 2 u can buy the tier 2 armor set in auction house and then buy materials hone and use next knowledge transfer etc

my game also does that sometimes, just instant 1 fps drops and then it takes some time to go back; but the reason it does that its cuz its loading particles and stuff that havent loaded, soo it mostly happens when ur on raids and stuff; the only thing i remember about fixing this is either trying the other DX ( 9 or 11, depends which one ur using atm ) and putting 3 commands on the steam startup, but i forgot them rn ( since i myself is just lazy to set it up )

sorry for the extremely late answer, if you powerpass a char it goes from new to lv50 all the way to shushire cleared and a box of 302ilvl items, but your main char isnt changed in the slightest, you can still backtrack side quests on your main char, your alt is the only one that is going to autofinish all the quests with the powerpass. believe me, its better to save all that time and get a char powerpassed instead of manually doing all that and get a couple thingies, it kills the purpose of the pass that way, dont worry about not being able to finish the sides on the alt, in the end its all worth it to powerpass them
