i think common behaviour is to just do the crucible for the week, and do more runs if you're within reach of ranking ie 32% -> 30% / 11% -> 10%. if not even close, there's not much use trying to redo crucible

For me its the "staying at max iLVL" I´m a very slow learner, need around 100 clears to dodge properly and see all "announcements", so taking a bus the first 1-2 months to still be able to progress is my way to go. Mostly I drop busses after 1-2 months and do it myself.
