So if those ppl are alrdy set in that frame of mind, the changes would just be outright negative for them

It depends how you look at it tbh. The change forces players to do both if they wanted "maximum rewards" while somewhat halting bots

So if they did keep old chaos, it wouldn't have addressed the issues they were facing.

Just that players who didn't have a lot of playtime got kneecapped further

As KR games have always been just about "more playtime means good yes" kind of model

And I think rn guardians give a more consistent amount of gems than old chaos, at the expense of just not getting cube tickets if you ignore chaos altogether

Getting 0 gems at 1730 kurzan was outright despair

If you can double dip, you can run the boss, then run the boss again at reset time since it'll spawn the boss again but technically the kill will count again since it is after reset.
