Like I said above, this sort of thing really does not happen all that often. Only a couple of times a year at most. So in a year with 52 weeks that may only be 2 or 3 of those weeks where they have an issue where maintenance or an update maintenance is extended/prolonged due to issues.

It has happened during normal maintenance before as well. Also there are literally exponentially more months where an update has deployed and there were zero issues with maintenance ending right on time or earlier than expected.

It happens with every game. Something may happen that interrupts server stability, an update may introduce a bug that causes basically all players to consistently crash, etc, etc.
