POE1 builds might have variety, but they are boring AF, it's 99% of time spamming same skill over, and over again like Diablo, which I hate, POE2 is based around 2-3 skill rotation in most cases, despite unbalanced builds lacking variety, which can be fixed, it's potentially has way more combat variety, and fun to play. I had no fun with playing POE1, meanwhile POE2 despite being unfinished, etc, was kinda fun.
I don't even agree slightly about mouse control games being superior, it's just big meh for me, WASD control is always more comfortable, and fluid, mouse feels way to out of place. Have your opinion tho, but I don't agree.

You seem to having reading problems, I played POE2 for around 50 hours. tried some classes, but didn't like it, then played Bear Druid POE2, tried wolf as well, both were about 2-3 different skills, some tactics to use certain skills like totems before starting fights, etc, something POE1 don't have it on 99% of the builds, 99% of POE builds are just spamming same skill over and over again and boring AF.

and i can confidentally say that poe2 has been the WORST experience so far in a hack and slash ive ever had
there is absolutely 0 build variety in poe2, every league so far has been "one skill meta other skills bad" and its fricked beyond playability
ggg nerfed the only viable build from 0.1 into oblivion, nerfed all the fun builds into unplayability from 0.2 and i stoppped after that shitshow
Dont even get me started on the endgame of poe2. Oh you want to fight the strong pinnacle boss with cool drops ? nah, you gotta pray to RNG to find citadels for 90 maps to even find A SINGLE ONE OUT OF THREE. Good luck on that.
