because the boss only targets the player it ends up being very easy to "outwit" the AI
so solo mode AI needs to sometimes aim shit in random directions
or they need like AI bots in the raid that run around randomly that can be aggrod
this AI aggro thing is kind of a problem since the earliest games
since they all follow the same script of
- pick target
- walk into range
- attack
that's why you can stutter step the sme way in basically every game
