In aegir if you use sidereal it does like few bars of dmg, but when you use the active ability of the sidereal it deletes like 30% of boss hp instantly cos its doing the same dmg it would in normal or hardmode, but obviously solo boss only has like a fraction of the HP of the nm/hm boss.
