Either way's, 4 seconds means that in a 10 min fight (assuming you play perfect with meter) Aura last how long? 17 seconds google says, so if we go by that assumption that's 26 seconds to gain aura > 17 seconds to deplete it, 43 seconds per rotation. 10min / 600 sec / 43 = 13,9 Rotations.

And with the other tripod each rotation is 39 seconds giving you 15,3 Rotations.

So sure, In a long fight you get about 1 more aura. I still think not getting knocked on AP / be able to use it freely is worth that cost, and even more so on shorter homework fights.
