There is a powerpass active right now that takes you to 1585 & an express event to help with honing that gives a bunch of free stuff. There is a new class release in a month and we should get another set of those events again.
Solo raids have been added since you last played so you can still earn gold that way. Good for learning stuff and getting back into the game
