Don’t forget that also newer field bosses have often overlapped with other systems like life-skilling spots, faction pvp, Una Tasks or Main Story Quest. All reasons for a player to be standing near the edges of the circle and get randomly picked up by the Boss’ Aggro.

Most base game ones had their own special areas (roughly) and ones like Thunderwings were at least off-to-the-side

Just do that for field bosses and voila, all issues are gone
