A single drop from fate embers as large as 10k is rather large turd of currency to dump out, especially when farmable by bots.
And if you were actually reading this chat over the last few hours, I've said it'd be better to use express events when making new characters, makes getting a foot in the door easier and bypassing 5x3 requirements.
Accuse me of moving goalposts all you want, but from your comments about honing at 1540 already show you have the expectation of crapping out multiple gear taps a week from a single character. Getting accessories isn't an immediate thing, neither is books.
