As a non-casual claimed by OP, the only suggestion/answer I can give is to new players who've used pass immediately, don't have means to access to raid in game because how it is now along with Gatekeeping culture

1. Endless Chaos Dungeon is the last resort, it is absolutely not worth the time investment.
2. Horizontal Contents are decent part of this game - despite many taunt and dislike them, still plenty do them, maybe not so much islands all overs and only certain islands, especially adventure islands at spawn time lots
3. Gold is main end game currency and for many other things too - Lifeskills (gathering/mining/hunting/excavating/logging/fishing), farm adv island tome items
4. Try get into a LFG group, there's no reason to not do it - even actual casuals do it, self-denying and refusing to get help that way isn't healthy way to play at all
