#2 you don't have it fully stacked up on progression raids or future raids (at least not for a long time)
#3 some raids just auto-shuts it off unless I'm wrong like Akkan with poison ticking or G3 Ivory with fire stack buff that ticks. Unless, dot's don't count as hits then fine, the other two points still stand.
