Who clears it first? Who cares! I couldn't care less about names, titles, or guilds that's why I turned of those things in the settings to not see them. All I focus on is item level, gems, cards, and sometimes the quality of the weapon when I inspect a person for a lobby and if I am not a leader while waiting for the lobby to fill up I am away from the PC. Honestly, outside of a select few groups, it's irrelevant. 99% of players won't even be accepted in groups capable of doing the race. Let them measure themselves against each other for all I care.

I've even been in PUGs with people who had esther weapons, but it didn't amaze me. At the end of the day, what matters is you. Just take it easy and enjoy the raid. Personally, I had a blast tackling Extreme Valtan for a few days straight. I love raiding, even if it means enduring numerous wipes. That's the main reason I play MMORPGs.

I do wish, though, that we could choose which raids to spend our weekly entries on. Some have been run a thousand times and have become boring and way too easy.
