Express events are for 1 character, not a roster.
And MMOs that simply rely on that end up with pump & dump characters as people jump from the FotM classes as each express is rolled out.
With stuff like Elixirs, Transcendence etc. that doesn't work if you need to switch mains every 3 months or so.

Just changing the A -> B pathway so you're not bogged down in trying to the part where actually spending $ feels of value.

No shit the game is based on swiping for honing rolls and pushing past the grind, the problem is when players are bogged down at out of date progression marks that do not reflect the current endgame of the game.
Like having people still pay for gold when honing between 1415-1490 when Brel Hard mode was out.
1520-1580 for Koreans is for content that is behind the current MSQ and would likely feel like a waste of gold and resources when they are trying to push mains to 1620-1630 in preparation for the Kazeros raids. Hence, why you see players with wider rosters abandon them for single characters.
