Wanting the Ark to either restore themselves or turn Petrania into a new version of Arkesia.
Most of Kazeros' speech is about restoring a great injustice or rebalancing the worlds.

Kharmine is wanting to use the Ark, by convincing Armen to tell us to kill Kazeros this time instead of sealing like Luterra did.
With Kazeros dead, Kharmine can ||free Thaemine fully and reform as Zosma|| without fear of Kazeros messing stuff up again.
Plus, if Kazeros IS Antares, killing him would Regulus' power which is a personal victory for Kharmine.
