Thank you for taking your time to read this post. I wish to post a few of the reasons why this game might be overwhelming to some, and why it's really a constant race for few that will never be won.

You have to understand that a lot of people were forced to fomo swipe to improve their weapon and gear before being able to join specific raids. This game is psychologically designed to pray on the idea of being a main character, the idea of being able to feel like you mean something. Many people play this game to appeal to this idea, some examples and not limited to are:
▫️ Oh I dealt top dps I am so good!
▫️ Oh they cannot clear without me, I am just better.
▫️ I must swipe to ensure my friends can keep clearing content.
▫️ I need to swipe to be able to join raids.
▫️ I need to be stronger so girls can look at my in a video game.

All of the points above are true, and I have seen heard numerous instances of them. You might say they are not, but by all means people tend to swipe because of these psychological factors. Either be it R to the M to the T or either be it via legit means using amazon.

By all means, using illegal means to obtain gold is definitely bad, but then again the reason this game is so popular right now is due to the fact that people can make a living from this game from certain countries, or a certain amount of money a month. This eco system isn't terrible by all means, it in facts helps lost ark in many ways. The main issue here is the bots which in turn ruin the economy at a marginal scale, and yes bots will never be fixed sadly.

Take B.F skinners theory as an example, and the pidgeon experiment. You basically spend money in the game, you are rewarded with compliments from friends, more supports adding you, you deal more dps and see bigger numbers, you see yourself more in the MVP screen, you feel gratification. I will not say that is the same for everyone, but I am sure every single one of you felt at some point proud, or a small adrenaline surge when you saw yourself being the MVP on a page or screen.

Moving on to another issue, some people are inherently unlucky. They will never get a drop, and they will see others getting drops resulting into them just leaving as they feel like they are playing to just be punished. This will never stop or change sadly unless a pitty system for drops comes around, which honestly might be a bit dumber than assumed, or the gold of raids is buffed, and accessories made more frequent to reduce their prices. [which again I do not agree with].

To add, bots can never be combatted, so our economy will always be shit, life skill prices are crashing again since life skilling is still available and bots are just stock piling their materials for 3 days mass dumping after 3 days. There needs to be a certain life skill cap, such as reach roster level 50, or reach level 55. Most bots are level 50. It's very easy to get level 55 with the new pass.

How to counter bots: Some ideas
◽ Add a 1445 / or level 55 block from gathering. This will ensure bots will have to exist marginally longer to be able to do any of this.
🔲 Force the passes/power passes/express to only be available to accounts with trusted status.
🔲 Make a channel to let players report bots. You can make it so people cannot view the history of the channel, it's obviously much better, fasted and lets you know the areas bot gather.
🔲 enforce HWID bans on bots.
🔲 Anti cheat will never fix anything. Just accept it, easyanti cheat is known to be one of the worse anti cheats in the market, but a viable option as an anti cheat for obvious hacks/clients and overall issues.
