i cant really say much about the gatekeeping compare to other games since the only other MMO i played was Blade&Soul. the only gatekeeping in that game was just meeting the dps requirement for that raid. plus the raiding scene there is quite small. people just ignore it till they can burst it down and skip mech or just buy busses for your raid mats cause that shit was hard
