The issue is with Paradise- restoration stones show up in the Paradise window, however, they do not show up when you go to the vendor to trade them in.

I'm not terribly familiar with the bot myself but does it give you any sort of error? When you use the trade command there will also be specific boxes for each part of the post. Its also very possible the bot is just having a moment and it may work if you try again later.

Im pretty sure Adventurer is the verified role,so you will be locked from viewing any channel at all. Maybe you want to drop your region role?

Was just gonna suggest "#Lost-Ark-Quick-Questions" as a help channel directly under "#lost-ark-help"

Observation: A lot of stuff in the current help channel is heavier lift/deep dive stuff, or not-simple answers, or conversation generating topics. I feel like small/short/simple questions are easily lost in the shuffle, and just add to the noise part of the noise/signal ratio.

Benefit: Perhaps with some initial enforcement, and a long message timeout, if people can behave themselves, I think there'd be high value in being able to just pop in for a short and sweet "Is the Market / Auction House global or regional or just server specific?" type questions - Stuff that only requires a one word or one line answer, and maybe a clarifying question/follow-up, but ideally not.

Could even start collecting good example questions that are either common or high-value and pin/sticky them in the channel, not that people read pins, but interactions that are real short and simple like that are great for pinned messages versus long conversations that require reading through a lot of chat history.

Anyway in all seriousness darn near 100% of everything anyone asks in all channels is probably covered in the same guides or types of guides, totally get where you're coming from, but I feel like that's a case for just not having any help/question channels at all.

The value from my perspective in being able to ask/receive an answer in Discord is that you don't have to slog through all the clickbait articles on google, or countless discord search results, or a full guide on a topic that may or may not address your question in a way you understand, if you just need to know simple short/simple.

Not sure how new information flows into new player tips but the channel feels more like "stuff we got annoyed by too many people asking" and less "a collection of tips focused on new players"

Appreciate and respect the answer but just wanted to share my anecdote that I've been largely unsuccessful in quickly finding answers to a lot of questions that boil down to "Yes, No, or like, 5 words" on certain topics, or had to slog through a ton of content and forum posts just to find something relevant. (And yeah, they're probably in a guide somewhere too, but most people myself included don't wanna read a 6 page long guide on a topic in the hopes that it has the answer to one specific question <_<)

No disagreement there. But again we could say that for almost everything people are asking about in Discord (or anywhere else). So the question for me becomes "Are we advocating for the removal of all help channels because people should just read proper full guides on the topic, and so we should just have an extensive library of guides posted instead?" - And if not, then can we ignore the argument for using guides instead of asking questions, and focus on if there's a value added with the original idea?

Well no-one said not asking questions! 🙂 Thats why there is a help channel right? It's just to make life easier of a few. Well those few will definitely get their answer in there, or on some region or class channel. But adding another channel that needs moderation, makes the free time of some other few people that run this server smoothly 🙂

Honestly, I am not a fan of using test dummy results as reasonable theorycraft evidence so that's not going to be something I'd support. Certain builds benefit heavily in that zone but in terms of their practicality not even just in Argos for example, but throughout South Vern content the gap between what you do hitting an inanimate object vs what damage you'll actually manage to get off on Voldan and what builds will support you even being able to do so widen exponentially.

So I'll leave that for someone else that might wants to comment on it.

This is merely to test the baseline dmg of various skills, as the discussion about wether or not Leap Attack, Thunderbolt, Surge Cannon etc does more or less dmg than the other skill happens multiple times a day. But i get your point, and i respect that :)

Yeah and I understand what you're trying to do and I respect that and the concept of it, but the reality is I pin that it's going to still to lead to arguments regardless as players of various levels of gear, builds and pods argue over what's better as mentioned esp later down the T3 line.

And ultimately gear relative to content and what the content is what really matters when people are asking for damage comparisons.

Like the ability to assign yourself a role of Galatur or Una etc and then only people in that server can see the discord channel and can post the events/merchants/bosses in there. Basically just to make it easier to see any available in your server

[Discord Request] Any chance that we could get the guild recruitment split into server based? Right now, the guild recruitment channel is just overflowing with posts (which is good as lots of guilds are active) but promoting a guild on a specific server is hard.
Could be a main channel for guilds where you toggle your server (as a tag) to reveal the guild recruitment for that particular server.
