The whole "grind" with them is the fact they come from several different sources but the actual grind on mixmaxing with them is getting 1 that has engravings on it that you actually run as well RNG being on your side so you can get the most successful attempts on the engravings while getting the least amount of successes possible on the detrimental effect?

You get gems from chaos dungeons and cubes. And some vendors.. and sometimes events.. and you dont have to go to the gem expert to fuse them you can do that from your inventory

If you are trying to travel between different continent with the triport you can't. You need to be present on that continent to teleport to its locations. To travel between continents you need to use the ocean liner which you can access through your map.

also if you are starting out i highly recommend working on life skills (professions) a lot of ppl dislike how it works but its really good gold income, aaand... as a person catching up you need that gold income
