You got 5x3 engraving support, actual decent gems... you did the item level and this character was more than ready
Now... you miss out on a lot of things... the event gems in the current scaling of content are worse than they were 1-2 years ago, you don't have all the points for the Ark Passive, no Karma system, no good accs (which make a lot of difference now!)
I feel like pushing an express is a lot less ready to raid... let alone satisfy the community to be taken into content
I remember getting full level 8 gems on one express, that was huge in T3
5x3 and that and your damage was already really good
Also... playerbase was bigger despite the same gatekeeping, so you had more parties to go do content with... and it was more likely to get into parties or make your own and find like-minded people

Whats funny too is that Frame Generation is becoming more common and sure it isn't perfect and can have input latency, but your framerates are better so it can help prolong older setups so long as they can run DLSS or FSR 3.0
