You either need the calculator or you don’t. It’s about being smart / clever enough to solve the puzzle in front of you. It takes a lot of thinking and planning if you do it yourself. There are people that do it themselves and fast at that.
You just have to try to remember what each power tile does and what each card does to formulate a plan.
